Greetings everyone, and welcome to the first issue of 2007! Late last year we decided to offer a semi-pro pay rate for story submissions. Unfortunately, that turned out to be infeasible, so we're back to being a non-paying zine. However, we still hope you'll consider submitting!

This time around we have a short-short work by Carlo, and a creepy tale by fellow Dargon colleague Jim Owens. Jim's story "The Ne'reween" originally appeared (in a slightly different form) in DargonZine volume 11, issue 6 under the title "Maiden Cloth", and he has graciously allowed us to reprint it here.

For our first Featured Artwork we have a cool illustration of the Marvel comic-book characters Rogue and Gambit, by Mark's friend Lora Innes. And finally, Carlo's web comic "Magic, Maiden, and Mist" concludes in this issue. He is unsure whether to continue it or not, so if you want to see more of the story, be sure and send him an e-mail.
